and 20 cm high?
5. A cuboid of dimensions 25 cm X 16
cm X x cm has same volume as that of cube edge 20 cm.Find:
a) volume of the cube b) volume
of the cuboid
c) the value of x.
6. A cube and a cuboid have equal
volumes.If the cuboid is 25 cm long,15 cm wide and 9 cm high; find:
a) volume of the cuboid b) volume of the cube
c) each side of the cube
7. A room is 4 m in length,3.2 m in
breadth and 3 m in height.Find the volume of air in it.
8. Find the space occupied by a
rectangular solid whose length is 12 cm, breadth is 8 cm and height is 10
cm.Also, find the surface area of the solid.
9. Find the volume and surface area of
a cuboid whose:
a) 7 cm b) 2.1 cm c) 1.5 m
10. For a cube, its surface area=216 cm2,
find length of its one side and its volume.
